Job Description:

Currently seeking Commercial Plumbers for new construction job in New Orleans. Must have experience installing Copper ProPress fittings. Journeymen State License plumbers will receive top pay $30 hour. The ideal candidate must have verifiable commercial plumber experience with PVC, CPVC, Cast Iron, and Copper. This is Temp to Permanent job with full benefits.Responsibilities of the Commercial Plumber:Plumber will read blueprints and drawings to understand or plan the layout of plumbing, waste disposal, and water supply systems.Plumber must be able to cut, assemble and install pipes and tubes with attention to existing infrastructure (e.g. electrical wiring)Plumber will Install and maintain water supply systemsPlumber needs to locate and repair issues with water supply lines (e.g. leaks.)Plumber must be able to repair or replace broken drainage lines, clogged drains, faucets, etc.Plumber must repair domestic appliances (e.g. washing machines) and fixtures (e.g. sinks) etc.Plumber must install and maintain gas and liquid heating systems (air-conditioning units, radiators, etc.)Plumber must install waste disposal and sanitary systems with well-functioning DWV systems.Requirements for Commercial Plumber:Commercial Plumber experience requiredExperience with PVC, CPVC, Cast Iron and CopperAbility to read, write and verbally communicate effectivelyAbility to perform basic math functions Must be able to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specificationsAble to work easily and skillfully with all tools and materialsHave your own tools and transportationOrganized with good time management skillsMust be dependable and willing to complete the project from start to finish Job Type: Full-time Pay: $28.00 - $30.00 per hour Expected hours: 40 - 50 per week Benefits: 401(k)Dental insuranceHealth insuranceLife insuranceVision insurance Schedule: Monday to Friday People with a criminal record are encouraged to apply Experience: Commercial Plumbing: 2 years (Required) Journeyman License: 1 year (Required) License/Certification: Driver's License (Required) Associated topics: fitter, install, pipe, pipefitter, pipelayer, plumb, plumber, plumbing designer, repair, sprinkler
