Insurance Coverage Attorney – Baton Rouge, Louisiana or Houston,
Texas Our client is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented
Insurance Coverage Attorney to join their team. This role offers an
opportunity to make a significant impact by guiding clients through
complex insurance coverage issues, ensuring they receive the
highest quality service and representation. Key Responsibilities
Our ideal candidate will demonstrate both a strong understanding of
coverage policies and a dedication to maintaining high standards in
client service. In this role, you’ll manage a diverse range of
responsibilities which include: Analyze and interpret insurance
policies and coverage terms to advise clients on their rights and
obligations. Conduct thorough research on case law, regulations,
and industry trends to support legal arguments in coverage
disputes. Represent clients in negotiations and, when necessary, in
litigation regarding complex insurance coverage matters. Draft
comprehensive legal opinions, memoranda, and other documentation to
provide clarity on coverage issues. Review and advise on claims
denials and policy language to ensure compliance with applicable
laws and regulations. Required Skills and Knowledge Our team values
expertise and precision, and we seek candidates with the following
qualifications and abilities: 5 years experience in reviewing and
analyzing complex coverage policies and insurance processes.
In-depth knowledge of insurance regulations, particularly in the
field of coverage law. Proven research and analytical skills with
the ability to interpret case law and legal precedents. Strong
communication and negotiation skills to effectively represent
clients in coverage disputes. Must be in good standing with the LA
or TX State Bar.
