working with Cynet Health to find a qualified PCU RN in New
Orleans, Louisiana, 70121! Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession:

License: Compact or state license required upon submission
Certifications: BCLS, ACLS Must-Have: - Epic experience required -
Traveler must be comfortable with emergency team assignments -
Patient ratio experience: 5:1 on nights Description: The role
involves caring for patients with acute and chronic medical
conditions, including pre-liver transplant, liver failure,
end-stage renal disease, diabetic ketoacidosis, sepsis, respiratory
failure, and heart failure. Responsibilities include hospice care
and immunoglobulin therapy. The nurse will monitor telemetry and
manage dysrhythmias. Skills required include managing IVs, blood
product administration, and central line care. The unit supports
interdisciplinary teams, including IV teams, physical therapy,
respiratory services, and social services. The daily census is 33,
with 34 beds available. Candidates must be willing to float as
necessary and be available for weekend coverage. This position is
not suitable for first-time travelers. Travel experience is
required. References will be requested to obtain clearance for
contract initiation. Maintaining strict infection control practices
and providing wound care are essential components of this role.
