Job Description:

Gifted Healthcare is seeking a dedicated and skilled Neuro Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team in New Orleans, Louisiana. This position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic, patient-centered environment focused on neurologic care. You will collaborate with a team of healthcare professionals to provide top-tier care and enhance patient outcomes. This role involves managing complex patient cases, utilizing the latest in medical technologies and treatments. Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for neurology patients. Administer prescribed medications, observe and record patient behavior and responses. Coordinate with healthcare team members to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans. Educate patients and their families on illness and injury prevention, and manage chronic conditions. Monitor and ensure the quality of nursing practices and adherence to ethical, legal, and regulatory standards. Strong neurologic care knowledge Proficiency in using medical software and electronic health records Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Critical thinking and problem-solving skills Ability to work effectively in high-pressure situations Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Louisiana Certification in Neuroscience Nursing (CNRN) preferred
