StartDate: ASAP Pay Rate: $550000.00 - $650000.00 Section Head,
Advanced Heart Failure & Transplant Cardiology Intro We are seeking
a board-certified Advanced Heart Failure and Transplant
Cardiologist to serve as Section Head. This physician leader will
provide clinical oversight across inpatient and outpatient
services, guide program growth in mechanical circulatory support
(MCS) and transplantation, and advance quality, education, and
academic initiatives within a multidisciplinary heart failure team.
Position Highlights - Lead a multidisciplinary Advanced Heart
Failure team, providing clinical oversight for inpatient,
outpatient, and referral services. - Drive quality and compliance
efforts (e.g., UNOS/CMS readiness), outcomes review, and continuous
improvement. - Provide expert care in advanced heart failure,
transplantation, and mechanical circulatory support (including LVAD
management). - Partner closely with medical and surgical leadership
to develop and expand MCS and transplant programs. - Support
teaching and academic contributions, including fellowship education
and scholarly activity. - Participate in specialty clinics and
program development aligned to patient and regional needs.
Qualifications - Board Certified/Board Eligible in Cardiovascular
Disease with fellowship training in Advanced Heart Failure &
Transplant Cardiology. - Minimum 8 years post-fellowship experience
with demonstrated physician leadership experience. - Expertise in
mechanical circulatory support and transplantation, including
programmatic leadership and clinical excellence. - Commitment to
multidisciplinary collaboration, patient-centered care, and
building high-performing teams. - Track record (or strong interest)
in quality improvement, outcomes measurement, and regulatory
readiness. - Interest in education and academic contributions
