Registered Nurse (RN) | Telemetry Location: Baton Rouge, LA Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,128 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 8 Weeks Start Date: 3/30/2026 About the Position Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Telemetry Duration: 8 weeks Shift: Night 3x12-Hour Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 2 years in specialty, telemetry/medsurg experience preferred License: Compact or state nursing license required Certifications: BLS, NIHSS, ACLS preferred Must-Have: Telemetry and cardiac telemetry experience Experience with cardiac drips and EKG interpretation Ability to manage dysrhythmias and telemetry monitoring Demonstrated skills in IV management, blood product administration, and central line care Description: The role involves monitoring patients in a telemetry setting. You will provide care for adult and geriatric patients. The expected patient ratio is 1:6 for night shifts. You may be assigned to an emergency team if needed. You will work alongside interdisciplinary support staff, including physical therapy and respiratory services. You are expected to be adaptable to float as needed, cover weekends, and participate in call rotation. Successful candidates will report for scheduled shifts and be prepared for potential emergency situations. Certifications must be current and verifiable. All applicants must have experience with the charting system specified in the requirements. Travelers must comply with all necessary licensing and certification documentation.
