Job Description:
Trauma/Acute Care Surgeon - Ochsner Main Campus, Ochsner Health
Ochsner Main campus has 767 beds and is the leading provider of
tertiary and quaternary health care services in the Gulf South. The
Surgical ICU has 34 beds and is one of six critical care units in
the hospital. Ochsner has an independent Cardiothoracic fellowship
that finishes one trainee per year. Ochsner has an independent
surgical residency that finishes seven chiefs and trains fellows in
Colorectal, Vascular, and Transplant Surgery. Ochsner provides the
final two years of clinical training for medical students from the
University of Queensland (Australia). Candidates should have an
interest in education and participation in clinical research.
