Interventional Job Title: RN - Interv Rad Specialty: Interventional
Radiology Must have Interventional radiology RN experience. Must be
competent to perform conscious sedation, and monitor and record all
procedures in the IR department. Must be able to take call on
nights, weekends and holidays to meet the needs of the department.
We schedule out-patients M-F, during the day time hours. Our 1 st
case is slated to start at 7am. We stagger arrival times based on
whether we are working preop, intra op or post op. Shifts can vary
from 6 2:30 to 0830 5p. We are hospital based and provide services
to out-patients and in-patients. Because of this, we cover the
department with on call, from close of business day Mon Thursday
until opening the next morning. On Friday, we cover the department
with on-call from Friday, close of business day until the following
Monday morning opening time. We cover the department 24/7, which
includes all after business hours, weekends and holidays. Agency
staff are treated as though they are regular staff. Schedules,
including on call hours, are divided equally among staff members.

company's discretion. Education Required - Registered nurse
diploma. Preferred - Associate or bachelor's degree in nursing.
Experience Required - 2 years Certifications Required - Current
registered nurse (RN) license in state of practice. Current Basic
Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart
Association. Current Advance Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
certification from the American Heart Association. CPI Blue Card
from the Crisis Prevention Institute Preferred - Certification in
clinical specialty area. KSAs Good organizational and time
management skills and ability to be self directed. Ability to
demonstrate good judgement. Good interpersonal skills. Job Duties
Effectively uses the nursing process in the delivery of patient
care. Assesses learning needs and implements teaching strategies
appropriate for the diverse needs of the patient, family, and other
groups or disciplines. Communicates, delegates, and manages nursing
team resources (human and fiscal) properly and serves as a leader
and partner on the interdisciplinary team. Uses data, information,
and knowledge to evaluate and promote change in order to achieve
optimal outcomes. Embraces concepts and behaviors that enhance
customer satisfaction and employee morale and improvement in the
profession of nursing. Adapts behavior to the specific patient
population, including but not limited to respect for privacy,
method of introduction to the patient, adapting explanation of
services or procedures to be performed, requesting permissions and
communication style. Performs other related duties as required. The

exposure to hazardous medications or hazardous waste within the
environment through receipt, transport, storage, preparation,
dispensing, administration, cleaning and/or disposal of
contaminated waste. The risk level of exposure may increase
