Job Description:
Critical Care APP - Locums in Louisiana, 7-On/Off Blocks Step
into a high-acuity cardiac ICU setting in Louisiana with flexible
block scheduling and fast onboarding. Highlights 7-on/7-off
preferred; split schedule also an option High-acuity cardiac ICU
with transplant, ECMO, vent management Start within 30 days with
temp privileges Direct access to decision-makers; no VMS Practice
Setting Inpatient CTICU setting Work alongside Attendings,
Hospitalists, CT Surgeons, and other CC providers Located in
Metairie, near New Orleans Schedule Full-time need with block
flexibility 7a-7p onsite shifts, no call Ideally 2 providers
rotating 7-on/7-off, but open to other setups Cases and Procedures
8-10 patients per shift 1-2 admits per day (alternating with
partner facility) Cardiac critical care, transplant, ECMO, vent
management Must be comfortable performing all lines and procedures
Requirements Acute Care NP or PA-C with at least 2 years of
critical care experience Louisiana license required ACLS, BLS, DEA
Credentialing 30-day credentialing with temp privileges due to
safety urgency Travel Accommodations Flights, hotel, and rental car
