job oversees the pre-transplant, post-transplant, and/or inpatient
transplant clinical practice. Acts as a patient advocate and
patient educator while promoting optimum patient independence,
self-care, and rehabilitation. Serves as an integral member of the
transplant team, assisting the transplant physicians by
independently monitoring certain patients, managing outpatient
clinics and periodically reviewing all patients with the
physicians. Provides care and service to individuals of all age

- -Bachelor's degree in nursing.Work ExperienceRequired - -3 years
of related experience with associate degreeOR2 years related
experience with a bachelor's degree.CertificationsRequired -
Current registered nurse (RN) license in state of practice.Basic
Life Support (BLS) through the American Heart Association.Preferred
- -Certified Clinical Transplant Coordinator (CCTC) through the
American Board of Transplant Certification (ABTC).Knowledge Skills
and Abilities (KSAs)
- Knowledge of pre-transplant, post-transplant, and/or inpatient
transplant clinical practice.
- Proficiency in using computers, software, and web-based
applications.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills and ability
to present information clearly and professionally to varying levels
of individuals throughout the patient care process.
- Strong interpersonal skills.Job Duties

there may be occupational risk for exposure to hazardous
medications or hazardous waste within the environment through
receipt, transport, storage, preparation, dispensing,
administration, cleaning and/or disposal of contaminated waste. The
risk level of exposure may increase depending on the essential job
