This job assumes accountability for patient plans of care, providing and managing care to individuals and cohorts of patients within a unit. Designs, implements, and evaluates nursing interventions by coordinating, delegating, and supervising the care provided by the healthcare team, including licensed nurses, patient care technicians and other health professionals and facilitates effective and efficient discharge planning. Provides a significant communication link between unit leadership, staff, patients, physicians, and others, serves as a resource to staff for patient care assessment and in the planning and evaluation of nursing interventions, and serves as a liaison between staff and clinical nurse staff and other nursing resources. Facilitates problem resolution and collaborates with the unit leadership and other supervisory staff in assessing the quality of care provided, identifying staff strengths and weaknesses, and evaluating the staff performance. Work ExperienceRequired -2 years of relevant experience working in a fast-paced, stressful environment. Certifications Required -Current registered nurse (RN) license in state of practice. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) through the American Heart Association. Knowledge Skills and Abilities (KSAs)
