ABOUT THE POSITION PM Field Service Techs function as part of the Service Team and is responsible for the preventative care of various types of customer and company-owned equipment. In this role, you will: Perform preventative maintenance tasks on a variety of equipment at various customer locations to maintain performance standards. Effectively communicate with all involved parties including Salespeople, Coordinators, Managers, and Customers about possible downtime and job progress updates. Operate in a safe, efficient manner with minimal supervision, to decrease equipment downtime, while also maintaining safe working standards both on-site and during the operation of company vehicles. The employee will encounter varying weather conditions and temperatures. The normal auto hazards will apply. will be frequently working on equipment with potential hazards where appropriate safety equipment and practices are required. must be able to lift 50 pounds. Occasionally may be required to lift items weighing up to 100 pounds. Must be able to push/pull up to 100 pounds. requires standing, walking, twisting, climbing, and crawling. requires bending, stooping, kneeling, or squatting handling/fingering on a daily basis. requires driving a van/truck to and from customer locations must be able to wear safety glasses and safety shoes.
