Job Description:

A company is looking for a Modernization Engineer to lead the design, development, and modernization of combat systems for US Nuclear Submarines.
Key Responsibilities

Lead the modernization and integration of legacy combat systems
Collaborate with small teams to implement cutting-edge technology solutions
Ensure code quality through testing and debugging practices

Required Qualifications

Proficiency in low-level languages (C/C++) and high-level languages (Python)
Experience with data structures, algorithms, and design patterns
Familiarity with version control, CI/CD, and containerization
Ability to obtain a US government Secret security clearance
Experience with large legacy systems and a passion for modernization
