Job Description Job Description Master's degree in
Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1 year of
Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do
not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Two full-time
Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) are needed for travel
assignments in New Orleans, LA, serving local schools with diverse
student populations. These opportunities begin ASAP and extend
through the end of the school year with potential for renewal.
Positions include: One SLP in a high school setting One SLP in a
K-8 school setting Each caseload ranges from 30 to 50 students,
with approximately 50% identified as English learners. The role
primarily focuses on intervention and providing direct speech
services, including observation and therapy minutes, but does not
involve performing evaluations, as a designated team member handles
those duties. Key qualifications and skills: Certificate of
Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology Clinical
Fellowship Year (CFY) or equivalent experience Experience in
school-based speech therapy settings Pediatric speech therapy
experience Proven ability to work effectively with diverse student
populations, including English learners Familiarity with delivering
speech services within educational environments and offering
interventions tailored to different age groups Responsibilities
include: Providing speech and language intervention services to
students based on individualized education plans Conducting ongoing
observations to monitor student progress Collaborating with
educators and support staff to integrate speech therapy effectively
in the classroom Managing caseloads of up to 50 students with
