Job Description Job Description Bachelor's or Master's degree in
School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1
years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do
not meet these qualifications will not be considered. This
opportunity is for a dedicated School Psychologist to provide
comprehensive psychological services within a K-12 school setting
in Metairie, LA. The role requires active certification by the
Louisiana Department of Education and offers a full-time contract
for the 2025-2026 academic school year. Key Responsibilities: -
Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations for K-12
students. - Collaborate with educators, parents, and school staff
to develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and support
plans. - Provide counseling and intervention services aimed at
improving student mental health and educational outcomes. -
Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and advocate for
student needs. - Maintain detailed records and comply with all
applicable laws and regulations. Qualifications and Experience: -
Active Louisiana DOE certification as a School Psychologist. -
Experience with K-12 populations preferred. - Strong communication
and interpersonal skills. - Ability to manage caseload efficiently
and work collaboratively within a school environment. - Flexibility
to work full-time hours, Monday through Friday, in accordance with
the school calendar. Location and Schedule: - Assignment based in
Metairie, LA. - Full-time, 35 hours per week: 7 hours per day with
a 30-minute unpaid lunch. - Contract duration through the 2025-2026
