Job Description Job Description Top Job Located in Baton Rouge, LA Salary: $22-$26/hour BOE Job Title: Party Chief Surveyor Location: Baton Rouge, LA Pay Rate: $22-$26/hour BOE Employment Type: Full-Time | Temp-to-Perm Overview: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Party Chief Surveyor to lead a surveying team in the field. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in land surveying and a thorough understanding of data collection methodologies. As a Party Chief, you will oversee survey projects, ensure accuracy, and manage team members effectively. This role requires proficiency in modern surveying technologies and software, including AutoCAD and Revit. Primary Duties: Conduct land surveys using advanced equipment such as Trimble and CAD systems Collect, analyze, and interpret data to produce accurate survey results Prepare detailed reports and documentation of survey findings for clients and stakeholders Collaborate with engineers and architects to provide essential data for project development Utilize AutoCAD and Revit for drafting plans based on collected survey data Ensure compliance with safety regulations and best practices during all field activities Train and mentor junior staff on surveying techniques, data collection, and equipment usage Key Responsibilities: Lead and manage field crews during all phases of surveying projects Verify measurements, boundaries, and elevations with precision and consistency Maintain equipment, tools, and data collection systems to ensure reliability Communicate effectively with project managers, engineers, and clients to ensure timely completion of deliverables Qualifications: Proven experience in land surveying with a solid understanding of surveying principles and practices Proficiency with AutoCAD, Revit, Trimble, and CAD software used in surveying applications Experience with robotics and modern data collection technology preferred Strong leadership and organizational skills with the ability to manage a team in varying field conditions Excellent communication skills and attention to detail Ability to analyze and interpret complex datasets effectively Position Details: Type: Full-Time | Temp-to-Perm Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8 AM-5 PM (40 hours/week) Pay: $22-$26/hour BOE Requirements: 10-Panel Drug Test and Background Check 2155LA Express Office: Baton Rouge 3888 South Sherwood Forest Boulevard Suite J-1 Baton Rouge, LA 70816
