in New Orleans is seeking interested BC/BE Pediatricians for a NICU
Hospitalist position. Candidates for our level IV NICU are invited
to consider joining our division working alongside an experienced
team of neonatologists and neonatal nurse practitioners. We are the
only hospital in Louisiana to provide both Level IV neonatal and
obstetric care at the same facility, Ochsner Baptist Hospital.

level IV NICU with private rooms for singleton patients as well as
multiples.
- Our section of fetal echo is located at Ochsner Baptist
Hospital and coordinates care of babies with complex congenital
heart diseases.
- Our team participates in the Vermont Oxford Network, has
continuous performance improvement initiatives underway.
- A full spectrum of pediatric medical and surgical subspecialty

neonatal resident rotation.

location, and a signing bonus. Our comprehensive Pediatrics Program
including primary care pediatricians and pediatric medical and
surgical subspecialists (Ochsner Children's) represents over 230
physicians. The group is the region's leading integrated provider
of multispecialty care for newborns, infants, children,
adolescents, and young adults. We offer a full range of pediatric
complex specialty services including congenital heart surgery and
cardiac transplantation, liver and bone marrow transplantation, a
comprehensive surgical sub-specialty group, and the region's only
comprehensive multidisciplinary developmental center. We recently
announced the building of a new separate, comprehensive, dedicated
Children's Hospital on our main campus, with expected opening in
2027. We currently care for patients in an expanding 67-bed Level
IV Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, a 14-bed PICU, a 12-bed pediatric
CV-ICU, and a 44-bed pediatric acute unit, with a dedicated
pediatric emergency room, and full-time, region-wide in-house
pediatric and neonatal transport teams. In addition to patient
care, Ochsner Children's Hospital has an ACGME-accredited pediatric
residency program and is responsible for teaching pediatric
residents from the Tulane-Ochsner Pediatric Residency program as
well as medical students from both Tulane and the University of
Queensland. Ochsner Health and Xavier University of Louisiana
recently announced an agreement to establish a joint College of
Medicine. About Ochsner Children's Ranked #1 Children's Hospital in

hospital nationally for the seventh year in a row by U.S. News &
